Jab Tak Hai Jaan review by me -
If you want to see this movie desperately, think twice because only 2 types of people can see this movie. 1. Those that really respect Yash Chopra and have broken heart due to his death and 2. Those who really love Shahrukh for last 21 years who are watching him since "Deewana".
Any other actress other than Katrina would have played better than her in the movie. At least, her voice should have been dubbed by some other person as we hardly able to listen her dialogs. Anushka is busy in showing her improved figure in between some dialogues in the film.
It is known fact that AR Rehman makes songs in the night and sleep in a day time. For this movie, he has slept in the night as well!!! Not a single song, remains in the memory even for 1 hour.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan does not have is a coherent plot. Many many things in the film are beyond imagination like - a person earning the money by singing songs on the road side at London cum waiter becomes a bomb disposal export cum Major in Indian Army and have defused 97 bombs without any protection at the starting on the film !!! Aditya Chopra needs to take help of story writers like Javed ji or only write films in which there is totally non sense....
There are many unwanted characters like Anupam Kher who are been left as is in between. Same case with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Their roles are less than guest appearance. Similar case with Sarika.
The films runs more than 180 min. excluding the break and it also requires enormous patience. Yash ji could have hired better editor to reduce the length of the film by at least 30 min.
The nature, the scenic views and London shooting are some of reliefs in the film. With all these conditions, still you want to spend money, go for it or wait for some months to see the "World Television Premier" of the movie.... :)
