Letter to Election Commission of India

Date: 3 Dec. 2019

To,
Election Commission of India
Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi 110001

Hello Sir,

I am writing this email to you regarding the recent assembly elections held in Maharashtra. You know that the elections were held on 21st Oct. and the results were declared on 24th Oct. 2019.

You are very well aware that BJP and Sena has made alliance before the election and they had done the joint campaign. They have kept the candidates common at most of the places. As per the records from EC, Shiv sena received  90L votes in all. Since BJP had not kept any candidate at those (SS) constituency, the voters who wanted to vote BJP were been forcefully have to vote to Sena candidate. Similar thing might have happened other way also but looking at the control and reach of BJP is concerned, 1st possibility is likely to be happened more.

Later Sena done the break up with BJP and joined hands with INC and NCP. This means those the people who voted to Sena were been cheated completely.  They want to vote Fadanvis and Modi but voted to Sena being alliance but their vote gone waste.

On one side, election commission asks for free and fare election, and such a large number of voters are getting cheated, then whats the use of such elections? The number is far more than NOTA and your consideration is badly required in this. In this case, people voted for BJP, but went to SS and benefited to INC and NCP. This has defeated the complete purpose of free and fair elections.

I didn't see any communication from EC on this subject and you need to really think on this issue.

Can you please discuss within your team and come out with some solution on this issue? You need to come out with some ideas and controls to avoid this future. You also need to check the possibility whether if alliance is made pre-election, they should not break and run away with other parties. Something like that...

Request earliest reply is highly appreciated. You can connect me on my email or on my mobile number if you want to discuss more on this issue.
